My Google Play Developer account is officially reinstated after a successful, year-long appeal.

Less than 6 hours later, I receive the first of three automated emails. My reinstated account is now "Restricted" due to an "Identity verification" issue.

Event 3: The Immediate Fix

The identity issue is suddenly resolved. I receive an email confirming: "Your identity has been verified." This happened less than 3 hours after the problem started.

Event 4: The Lingering Consequence

My developer account was reinstated, but my apps remain "Suspended". I received no email regarding the grounds for the suspensions.

The support team responded to my concerns with following message:

What is the support even talking about? My account isn't terminated.

The account support team tells me to appeal my apps individually, and when I do just that (appeal the suspension of my apps one-by-one), the app support team tells me I should appeal my account termination (with the previous account support team).

They are sending me back and forth.

As of September 2025, all of my apps remain inaccessible, likely due to a support/system error that occurred on March 7th. This is despite the fact that my developer account itself is accessible and my identity has been verified (even though I received the confirmation e-mail suspiciously just 46 seconds after the last "Restricted developer account" e-mail).

The standard support channels have acknowledged the issue but have been unable to resolve it, only sending me back and forth with different support teams. This case appears to require a manual correction that front-line support cannot perform. My objective is simple: to have the "Suspended" status lifted from my apps so that I may resume development, provide my users with updates and new features, and make them available to users once more.
